I have been diagnosed with acid reflux but take no medication for it. I don't have heartburn. This has happened to me 3 or 4 times within the last year. I will be eating usually meat or maybe bread, when suddenly it feels like the food is being blocked somewhere down in my chest. I can fell it moving but it will not go down. then I have to vomit and a horrible pain starts in my neck and goes to my head. I feels like my head is in a vice, my heart is pounding and it takes several minutes for it to stop. I look very pale afterwards. This really scares me. Is it the vomiting that is making my head hurt or is it something else. I have never had a headache that bad before.
