Bile duct enlarged,(?) but pain is on left side?

Hi, I'm a 64 yr-old female. About 10 years ago my bile duct was enlarged, I eventually started getting pain under my bottom ribs, on the left side.  After having an ERCP, the pains went away. I am once again getting the same type of pain in the same place, with my PCP stating the pain is on the wrong side.  I have an ultrasound scheduled for a few weeks from now.  I wonder why I'm getting pain on my left side if indeed my bile duct is enlarged again.  Anybody else experience this?

Yes! Me too! 62 year old, female just got the diagnosis w/ ultrasound and CT. Horrible pain left side below the ribs. Not kidneys, not pancreas, not spleen problems. Let me know if you figure this out. Owie.
