Help with diarrhea and smelly gas (really smelly) after gallbladder surgery

Right before my 65th birthday, I had my gallbladder out.  That was about 11 weeks ago.  All was well.  But about 10 days ago, I started to have diarrhea all day long and really smelly gas.  It is unbelievealbe how horrible it smells.  It's worse than my dog's.  Anyway, what happened??  I was fine for the first 9 or 10 weeks.  Now I'm afraid to be in public!  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
