Would like to keep gallbladder have 1 polyp found and have gallbladder symptoms



US ABDOMEN COMPLETE  



CLINICAL INFORMATION:  



Right upper quadrant abdominal pain.  



COMPARISON:  



None  



TECHNIQUE:  



Real-time imaging of the abdominal viscera.  



FINDINGS:  



PANCREAS: Tail obscured.  



ABDOMINAL AORTA: The proximal, mid, and distal segments are normal in caliber.  



INFERIOR VENA CAVA: Visualized portions are normal.  



LIVER: The liver is normal in size. The liver contour is normal. Parenchymal  



echogenicity is normal. No focal hepatic lesion. There is no intrahepatic  



biliary duct dilatation seen.  



GALLBLADDER: 0.7 x 0.4 x 0.6 cm gallbladder polyp. The gallbladder is  



physiologically distended without evidence of stones, sludge, wall thickening  



or pericholecystic fluid.  



COMMON BILE DUCT: Normal in caliber measuring 0.4 cm in diameter.  



RIGHT KIDNEY: No hydronephrosis. No renal calculi or focal parenchymal  



lesions. The kidney measures 11.5 cm in maximum dimension.  



LEFT KIDNEY: No hydronephrosis. No renal calculi or focal parenchymal lesions.  



The kidney measures 12.0 cm in maximum dimension.  



SPLEEN: The spleen measures 12.4 cm in maximum dimension.  



FREE FLUID: None.  



IMPRESSION:  



Gallbladder polyp measures 0.7 x 0.4 x 0.6 cm. Consider consultation with  



gastroenterology.
