6 year old with neck pain

Just as recently about a month ago my 6 year old daughter has been expecience lower back and neck pain.

I had her checked out , had x-rays done and all I have been told is that it is Growing pains. Its a specific location on her neck and her back so I really dont think it has anything to do with growing. She has grown 3 inches in the last year , but again dont you think her legs would hurt and arms etc?

I am to take her back in and they want to her have a test where they put a scope down her throat , but what the heck is that going to do?

Im fustrated, I have no clue what to do. Is is safe to her do little exercises (some thing a Physical Therapist would suggest)? We have tried ice, and heat but it is still coming around.

Any one with suggestions?

My daughter is 13 yrs old, she also has been having neck pain (around C-7) & knee pain. We have seen our family physician & the ER doctor. I was told her one pain has to do with her growth plates growing too fast. THANKFULLY her knee pain had improved but she has been having a lot of pain in her neck. I took her to the ER, they ordered X-rays & they were "normal". She's in a lot of pain & I'm so tired of not getting answers!!! Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,
Dana

My 6 yr old daughter has complained for the past 3-4 days with neck pain.  Im concerned because she also has leg pains which our family dr and a rheumatologist have told us are not due to growing as she is tall for her age.  She has had a positive ANA which shows at some point she could have Rheumatoid arthritis.
She has a dr appt this wed for her neck and the school nurse has already been calling this am.
We have been told theres really nothing to do for the leg pain since shes not had any swollen joints or red marks where shes hurting.  She does tend to run a fever when she hurts.

Does your daughter ever run one when her neck/back hurts (as my daughter has also c/o pain in her spine.)
As you have, we have tried ice, heat, tylenol, aspirin and nothing helps.  Im at a loss as well as you are.
My email is spradlin_charity***@**** if you would like to talk or im also on facebook under charity morris spradlin.

Its very frustrating i know. As we have also had xrays that show nothing.
