Abdomen is tender to touch and very hard for almost a year now....

I delivered my baby in October 2007 and since then or shortly thereafter I have suffered from chronic tender abdomen and it is very hard when I apply any pressure when lying flat.  The hard area sometimes moves around to different locations.  It's usually centered behind the navel and around the sides.  It is so hard!  It's very sore when I apply pressure there.  I have had a normal ct scan last August.  My gp is brushing it off and doesn't seem to want to make any further referrals.  I am concerned it could be something serious.  I have periodic nausea and an odd recurring skin rash.  It hurts to have a bowel movement sometimes.

Anyone have any insight or similar symptoms?

Thx

Don't let this be brushed off, continue to push to find out what's going on. Because you mentioned an odd rash, is there any possibility that you could have celiac issues? Is anyone in your family intolerant of gluten? Do you have any other symptoms that you haven't mentioned?
