Thank you for your help-I am scheduled to see a gasto. this Monday. :) Hopefully this can get tackled because it sure is painful. :(
It could possibly be gall bladder related. Does the pain get worse AFTER eating, especially if you've eaten something greasy or fried? If so, that's an even bigger indication that it could be gall bladder.
Gall Bladder pain can be very intense - can even make you feel like you're having a heart attack! And you don't have to have stones to have a gall bladder attack - a low or un-functioning gall bladder can cause just as much pain as having one full of stones.
You'd probably be wise to check in with your doctor and see about getting a referral to a gastroenterologist to have this investigated.
I hope you feel better soon!
