In addition to getting your stomach, esophagus, pancreas and gallbladder checked, I would recommend making sure you are not having heart trouble. Did you know that a heart attack in women sometimes feels like a case of heartburn?
The pain is in the pit of my stomach, in the middle part.
Thank you for your advice.
Most people when they say stomach mean abdomen. Is the pain on the left or the right side?
If the left, a GI specialist should be checking for esophageal, stomach problems, including ulcers and pancreatic issues. If the pain is on the right, they should verify the gallbladder and liver are in excellent working order.
They should check your bile duct network to be sure there aren't any stones blocking anywhere in there.
Pain a half hour after coffee suggests to me you may have an problem with acidity, since coffee is a known acid reflux offender. Pain almost all day suggests to me you may have an -itis (inflammation) process going. Now I'm not a doctor, but I think you should be going to one and be getting some testing about this so they can diagnose & prescribe the appropriate treatment for the known problem.
I want to add, that the pain has come and gone throughout the past year. Sometimes i dont get it for weeks.
