hear burn

i have a burning sensation in my throat and wont go away even with rolaids. I was diagnosed with acid reflux but never took the medicine. prilosec. Could this be the problem . It feels like i swallowed vicks dont know what to do.

We have a Gerd forum on Med help..maybe see what they think , I know certain foods trigger heart burn and its not nice I sympathise with you, dont eat in the evenings before bed .The meds you were given will help relieve it  maybe try it and see what happens , they usually work .good luck
