Thanks for your help. I don't know why doctors can't tell you it will take time for things to get back to normal. You worry why the heck you are worse then you were before the colonoscopy. I have to have another in 5 years, and thats to soon for me, lol
I will try the gas-x....I forgot about that stuff.
I don't feel bloated, just alot of really bad smelling gas. Im even grossing my husband out, lol. Then Im having about 5 bowel movements a day, and they are weird. I also am having leakage, so Im having to clean up that mess......Im not a happy camper.
I had a colonoscopy 2 weeks ago and all is finally getting back to normal. It is a shock to your gastro tract taking all of the liquid to clean out the colon to have a colonoscopy and it takes some time to get it back on track. I, too, have been having a lot of gas. This was not my first colonoscopy so I know it all subsides after a few weeks and everything gets back to normal. Good Luck and Hang in there!
You are not getting ignored. It just means that no one knows an answer to your problem. I would say that for the gas, you could try gas-x, and unless you are having pain, I wouldn't worry about the appearance of the bowel movement for now and you should just give it more time.
Im also having alot of gas. Its been 8 days since my colonoscopy. My bowel movements have changed a bit. They fill the toilet, and they are very small fibery pieces.
My biopsy came back normal, so all is well there. My intestines to me just don't seem right.
If your new here do you usually get ignored
