Anxiety & Stomach problems

I'm having anxiety right now. For the past 4 weeks, im experiencing heartburn and diarrhea in the morning(once a day). Not having stomach cramps and pain. 6 days ago I started avoiding coffee , milk, tea, soda, spicy food. I started taking antacid after meal. I ate more meat, food rich in fiber and psyllium fiber. My stool are now formed and soft in my first Po-Poh in the morning and after 30 min, my second po-Poh is watery again. What causes this? Is this anxiety related? Should I continue taking antacids? - ScorpionKing8

you shouldnt be taking antacids every day. They are for occasional heartburn. They are high in calcium, which isnt good to OD on.
With all the food you are avoiding, I dont see what would cause heartburn. Maybe stay away from acids too (tomato).
If you are experiencing anxiety, it can definitely cause bowel troubles. Your emotions live in your gut. Stress, anxiety, fear can all cause loose stool. Ever hear the term, "scared ********" or "nervous stomach?" nerves can cause diarrhea for sure. Work on your anxiety (try meditation) and see if that helps. Def get rid of those antacids. If the heartburn is that bad, you should try something like Nexium or Omeprazole and take it in the morning 30min before eating.

This is such a late response but I am literally experiencing this right now. Did it eventually go away? I plan to go to the doctor Tuesday to get some blood tests and a stool test. I have diarrhea in the morning without pain. I have no issues during the day. I’ve also changed up my diet. I know it’s been years but if you see this I’d appreciate an update/response because I’m stressing so much. Which I know isn’t helping. Thank you
