Bleeding when having bowel movement.

I have been bleeding every time i have a bowel movement but it only started after i moved into my new homestay. I think it may have to do with my diet, it has been going on for quite some time almost 3-4 months i don't feel pain anywhere in my abdomen just the occasional body 'pain' telling you its time to let it out. The bleeding has been consistent in amount probably able to fill a tea spoon but i may be exaggerating  cause i see it from the tissue paper. Again NO PAIN FELT i even started eating more fiber rich content like cereal and nut bars and stool feels alot more squishy than before but still bleeding.

Thx in advance.

A digital exam, for lack of a better way of putting it, is when the Dr. lubricates a finger and inserts into the rectum to check the prostate, feel for fissures (tears), and possible hemorrhoids. You might try doing a mostly liquid diet for a few days and don't sit on the toilet any longer than necessary.  No reading, playing games, texting, etc.  However, after this much time and considering your age, you might want to keep a close eye on this and get to the Dr as soon as possible.

Yeah the blood was bright red and what is a digital exam? And what are the chances of this to subside by itself I'm not exactly in a position to go see a doctor anytime soon.

Is the blood bright red?  My doctor told me that when I was seeing blood on the toilet paper it was probably a hemorrhoid or possibly s fisure (small tear) in the lower colon.  Since there is no pain, this sounds likely.  If the blood is dark in color, there may be a more serious problem.  I would recommend you see your general practioner about this.  A digital exam could probably locate the problem.
