Blood clots in stool

I have medium to severe bleeding when I go to the stool.  Moreover, I have a lot of blood clots as well.  I feel no pain at all, but I am just concerned what could it be?

Go and get colonoscopy done. I had bleeding for over 2 years and they removed a adanoma polyp, which is one that can turn into cancer. I am 33. Please get it done and keep us posted.

Any source of rectal blood/rectal bleeding is not normal and you should seek medical advice.  Unless the doctor is 100% sure that the cause is minor (such as anal fissure, haemorrhoids etc) I suggest that you request (insist on...??) a colonoscopy.
