Blood in stool, bloating, nausea, hard spot, fatigue?

Im a 20 year old male... I have had acid reflux like symptoms for past 5 months. I have had it before 2 years ago but it went away. Im back on the PPI protonix as it flared up again. this time it is different as i am finding blood in stool, my stomach is really bloated and i also have a hard spot in the middle of my stomach above my belly button. The protonix is not working as well as it did 2 years ago. I am slightly anemic but doctor said i was born with it and it is not significant. I also have been having bouts of fatigue. Also for a long time (5 months) i had an uncontrollable itch all over my body that went away on its own. Doctor said last month i had an elevted billirubin level.  Can someone help me? im 5"11 165 pounds

The elevated bilirubin, anemic tendencies and fatigue all sound like a liver issue to me, but it could be stemming from a neighboring organ as well (ie a cyst on your pancreas, gallbadder). Your itchiness was from the elevated bilirubin. I would ask for all the Hepatitis tests first and then maybe a liver panel so they have a marker to reference in the future. Morecambe is right, also. You should really see someone ASAP if there's black tarry or coffee ground like stools as it could mean internal bleeding which is yet another indication of liver disease. Your liver function is definitely being comprimised, so you need to find out why. Good luck!

If rectal bleeding has occurred you should revisit your doctor and seek further medical advice.  Ask for a colonoscopy if the diagnosis is "vague"
