Bowel Movement trouble & Pain

Hi. I am 19 and have tried getting pregnant for over a year now and nothing has happened. I also have been having mostly left side rib cage pain and constipation i can only have one bowel movement a week and is also painful. I dont know if not being able to concieve and having bowel problems has any relation? What could cause this?? any help/advice would be great! Thank you.

Have you talked to your GYN about this? Please get a pelvic exam and ask your doctor as many questions as you need to help alleviate your worries.
Endometriosis causes extremely heavy bleeding accompanied by excruciating cramps.  I have only heard of it causing problems with the colon when its been ignored and going on for MANY MANY YEARS.

Thanks. :) But i have always wondered about having endometrosis because i read it can even get on your colon and cause bowel movement problems...so thats why im so concerned and worried about this. And im 19 so i think it shouldn be a problem trying to get pregnant cuz im still young...if theres a problem i want to get it fixed before its too late...

You gotta relax dear!!  Adjust your diet to alot of veggies and fruit and laugh a bit!  To help with constipation, you could try MyraLax (spelling??) at night, every other night. There are similar copycats of this. Its a powder, tasteless, that you mix with water or juice or whatever you want. It helps me alot! I have diverticulosis and being constipated is the LAST thing my body can handle.
Perhaps you are putting too much pressure on the "becoming pregnant" thing. You are young and have LOTS of time...RELAX. Stop thinking about the urgency...its stressing you out!  Enjoy your sex life...otherwise all the JOY in conceiving will be lost. Be patient...it will happen when you least expect it.
