I am 24 years old and I have occasional constipation due to a poor diet but it usually doesn’t last for more than 4 days. This time it’s been 6 days but I did have a slight bowel movement today and also on Monday. I know that it is not as much as I should be having so I am concerned. I am also very gassy and very bloated. This constipation has me completely obsessing over it and I’m afraid something is wrong with me. I do not think I am pregnant and also I have had constipation before but this time it’s just really bad. I’ve tried everything except laxatives. Also, my farts have been smelling really bad and they have a very strong scent like gasoline or burnt rubber in them. I’ve never had that and that’s also scaring me. Sorry for the TMI but this has been consuming me and I don’t know what to do. I have tried: prunes, olive oil, fiber supplements, exercise, drinking more water, fruits, veggies, whole grain, oatmeal, chamomile, and kombucha tea. Any advice or opinions or anything would be greatly appreciated.

If you get constipation a lot, you may want to look at a long-term remedy with your doctor.  That can't be pleasant for you.  The odor is probably due to the build-up of feces.

There are activities that can increase your likelihood of being constipated.  When I was younger, traveling almost always did it to me, especially if I traveled by airplane.

Since you've tried everything natural that you can think of, it's probably time to take a traditional laxative.  Also, taking probiotics can help regulate your gastro tract. https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/for-women

Thank you for your answer. Just an update now I woke up with severe diarrhea. I’m very confused and I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been constipated for days that now there’s so much bacteria that it caused diarrhea
