CT results

Hi all, I've been reading through the posts and can't find what I'm concerned about.  My husband has a history of duodenal ulcer (years ago caused by Aleve).  Having GI symptoms (vomiting, nausea) as well as sporadic low grade fever.  Anyway, he just had a PET scan to find out if there's a malignancy.  Here are the CAT scan findings:
15 mm filling defect in duodenum.  Prominent 14 mm porta hepatis lymph node.  Peripancreatic lymph nodes measuring up to 10mm.  Subcentimeter retroperitoneal lymph nodes are also noted.
Splenomegaly (spleen is enlarged at 19 cm).

Your honest thoughts?  The waiting is killing me.  Many thanks in advance!

Thanks so much for the reply.  No liver concern but his bloods did come back with low platelets, which I think corresponds with the enlarged spleen. He's had no GI bleeding.
There is so much info from the CAT scan that we just weren't expecting.  I had never heard of a 'filling defect' before...does this mean it's not a tumor?  Sorry if this is a stupid question.  I'm going to do some research on portal hypertension.

Quite a bit going on there and it's good his doctors are engaged. What maybe a clue here is his enlarged spleen. This quite often indicates portal hypertension which is the GI portal blood flowing to the liver. When the portal blood flow is disrupted, the flow resistance causes the increase in the portal blood pressure and leads to an enlarged spleen, esophageal varices, GI bleeding, etc. Has he been having any liver concerns as well?
