Chronic Gas

I have gas all the time.  My back hurts lik emy kidneys have something wrong with them.  I go to the washroom like 6 or 7 times a day, usually less than an hour after eating something or when I am out walking somewhere like on my way home from work.  I pass gas from my behind like every 5 minutes.  No matter what I eat or drink I have gas.  Any suggestions?

So it turns out that I possibly have a yeast infection which is the cause for my gas...

I have other symptoms also that make it look like a yeast infection...

Well, I think you said it right there, you eat tons of yogurt.  Go for a week without any yogurt at all, and see if it improves your gas.  If there's anything else you eat lots of, things you crave, quit eating it, too.  And don't skip breakfast if you do, and chew meats up thoroughly.  Try drinking a little extra water, too.

I eat healthy, rarely eat fast food (maybe once a month), don't use straws ever. Don't drink pop or carbonated drinks and I do not chew gium..  I eat yogurt all the time (we keep a ready supply of the stuff in the fridge at all times.  Like maybe 6-10 big containers of the stuff).  No matter what I eat or drink I get gas.  Sometimes when I eat I even have to go to the washroom like 10 minutes later which is not fun when I am not at home.  Eating too quickly I do do sometimes but not always... and eating too quickly cannot be the reason for the way I have been feeling the last years or so.

If you do any of the following things, stop:  Chewing gum, drinking carbonated drinks, eating fast food, french fries or potato chips, drinking through a straw, and eating too quickly.

Also, if you skip breakfast, you will tend to have gas at lunch, so a little cereal in the morning or some toast will help that a lot.  If the gas tends to smell, this is from digestion staying in the intestinal tract too long, which eating a lot of poorly chewed meats or not drinking enough water thru the day will do this.

You could try eating Activia yogurt from the grocery for a couple weeks, see does that help.  And below is a website that tells you everything you DON'T want to know about gas, but you may find something in there that flips on a lightbulb in your head.
