Constant Nausea

My 14 year old son is nauseated most of the time.  He went 22 days straight in December and part of January.  He has now been nauseated 22 days straight in February.  He was diagnosed with Abdominal Migraines 15 months ago.  He had seen a gastroentrologist who did an upper GI, ultrasound, endoscopy(spelled wrong, I know).  All were fine.  Then once he started having frequent headaches and migraines they diagnosed him with Abdominal Migraines. So he was referred to a neurologist, who now doesn't know what to do for this nausea.  He is having less migraines now, but this nausea thing has completely taken over.  Could it be something else?  Gastroperosis?  He had cortisone shots in his neck near the nerve that controls nausea.  It didn't help.  Should we go back to the Gastroenterologist?

If the tea and the candy doesn't work, try ginger capsules.  They sell them at the health food store too.

Hi, I'm so sorry that he is suffering like that.  I'm a nutritionist.  I don't know what to tell you do.  I just wanted to tell you that ginger is an all natural cure for nausea.  You have probably been told this already.  Buy him candied ginger from the health food store.  It's dried ginger coated in sugar.  It's chewy.  There should be no other ingredients by the dried ginger and sugar.  Also, if this doesn't work, try ginger tea with a little honey.  Also available at the health food store.  I'd also talk to a psychiatrist.  Ask him if he has heard of this and if an anti-depressant would help.  The exact same chemicals that are in our brains are in our guts.  That is why we get "butterfly's in the stomach" when we are nervous in our heads.  Find a type of psychiatrist that is known as a psychopharmacologist (I may not have spelled that right).  They are psychiatrists that also have degrees in pharmacology (drugs).  Good luck!
