Constantly weak and tired for 5 weeks, dizzy after eating

Hello,

First I'd like to say that I'm from Germany and can't really concentrate that well anyway at the moment, so I'm sorry for any errors I make.

More than 5 weeks ago I ate something (croissant) which almost immediately afterwards gave me a strong shaking sensation, dizziness and diarrhea. I had eaten the same thing the week before, which gave me the same reaction, but I thought it was just a coincidence at first. I don't think I've ever reacted that strongly before to anything, and I have no known food allergies. I will get tested about that in 2 weeks though, too bad it takes so long...

Ever since that time, for 5 weeks, I have been completely unable to live my life. Too tired to even stand up, I almost break down just walking to the toilet, every single day. Sometimes dizziness. I caught a cold almost a day after it happened, or at least I thought it was a cold, since my throat was slightly swollen for about 2-3 weeks, so I thought, or hoped, those were cold symptoms at first.

I've been feeling pretty dizzy after eating recently, but apparently only certain foods, so now I'm afraid I might have even become food intolerant against pretty much anything. I don't feel anything but dizzyness and extreme fatigue though, no stomach pain or anything. Just diarrhea sometimes, but I have no idea what food exactly that could come from.

I went to the doctor several times, who almost refuses to help me at this point since she seems to think it isn't serious and I'm overexaggerating, and even to the hospital after a shaking episode that lasted for about 10 minutes in the middle of the night. Turns out I have "nothing" but a gastritis (no pylori found, type wasn't told to me) and a slightly enlarged spleen. They gave me Omeprazol and released me again, but I haven't taken it yet, since I don't have GERD problems, and my stomach never really hurt once the entire time. Also, I'm afraid it might make things worse. I've read some bad things about it.

They didn't test vitamin or mineral deficiencies, my stool or my brain, and a few other things, but they did test a lot. Now I'm completely helpess and clueless. And, to be frank, scared. It just doesn't go away, and I've lost so much weight already, 10 kg in a month, because I simply can't eat anything, and I'm scared of the dizziness. The doctors seem to now think my dizziness is a psychosomatic issue. But I simply know that's not true, I never had anything like this in my life. Can anyone help me, or has been through a similar experience?

There was a neurologist in the hospital, but he just talked to me and seemed to think it was psychological, which simply can't be true. I never had anything like this before. Most of the dizziness always seems to happend during digestion as well. But if I don't eat it's even worse.

I avoided most things for a few days now, but it didn't go away, so maybe it isn't food intolerances after all.

I still say you should see a neurologist for the dizziness. But that could also be from low blood sugar and not eating properly. And yes, I'd avoid dairy too. Stick with rice, poultry, fruit, and veggies.

Yes, it was right afterwards.

I've already thought about allergies, and I'm avoiding almost everything at the moment. I'm eating nothing but yoghurt, fish and rice at the moment, but maybe I'll avoid lactose as well, just to be sure. I never had any allergies before though, and I could eat anything without problems.

I'm dizzy and incredibly weak every single day. I can really hardly move anymore without feeling like falling over. At least I'm not losing anymore weight at the moment though. I have no stomach pain or anything that would make me think of a gastritis, but the gastroscopy said I had one. Can this dizziness really just come from that? No one suspects anything else going on with me, but that just can't be right.

I don't know about a croissant doing that much damage. How immediate was the diarrhea? Like minutes? For sure sounds like some type of food allergy. Maybe a gluten allergy.
I'm not sure about the dizziness/shaking thing. Though that can for sure have a lot to do with some type of anyphalactic shock and/or malnurtrition. I'd see a neurologist about that.
My suggestion would be to stop eating gluten and see if that helps at all. If you don't know anything about gluten, it is a protein found in wheat, barely, rye, and some other grains. Its pretty much in everything. I suggest only eating raw foods. Fresh meat, poultry, fish, fruit, and veggies. All fresh so they don't have any seasonings or modified things added to them.
It could all be an allergy.
