Discomfort / dull pain on side of adbomen under left ribs

Hi, for about 5 years now I've been having a slight discomfort under my left ribcage, kindda like a pressure, like an organ would take too much place. it used to come and go but recently it has become really annoying and more constant. It seems to be worse after eating and when I'm sitting down for some reason..

I went to the doctors many times and they all associated it to anxiety but I have a lot of doubts.. had a CT scan done a few months ago and everything came back fine although the pain was just mildly annoying and not as nothering as it is now.

could it be an ulcer or GERD? could it have been there that long without more complications?

Nope, but I do have an appointement with a gastroenterologist next febuary, no known chest or lungs problems, except maybe for the occasionnal chest pains because I,m sort of the anxious type....

Now the pain seems to have spread to the kidneys for some reason, it comes and goes, same kind of discomfort..

Really can't wait to see the doc..

Have you had an edoscopy, or do you have any chest/lung problems ?
