Do chest, arm, tie into digestive system?

Has anyone had anything similar?

Over the years I have had chest pains my left side and numb arms. Had many EKGs and nothing is wrong with my heart.

It all seems to go together with my digestive system.
Right now I am taking Nizatidine from my primary doctor for acid refux but have never had any tests done.

My most recent symptoms are I start with pain on the left side of my neck, followed by a headache, left arm tingles and pain in my left side of the chest under the breast. This can last 12 to 20 hours. I tend to fell very full during this time and have lots of burping. Also I find my arm seem to hurt move when I have the feeling of a bowel movement coming on and than afterwards gets better

Am I nuts to think its all due to my digestive system?

Have you had a 24 hour heart monitor or chest xrays at all?

Yes, digestive problems can cause chest pains and the other symptoms you are describing, however, it can also definitely be related to the heart.  Even though you've had EKG's done in the past, I wouldn't get so comfortable with thinking your heart is 100% in the clear that you get complacent about your symptoms.  Especially with women, heart disease and heart attack symptoms can be quite different from those that men experience.  Quite often a woman will not feel the "typical" crushing chest pain that some heart attack victims describe - sometimes they will simply have a feeling of chest discomfort and fullness, and thinking that it's gas and will go away, they don't seek medical attention.  Unfortunately, for some of them, this decision can be deadly.

So, I guess my answer to your question is yes, chest pain can sometimes be caused by problems with the digestive tract (I've had this happen to me also and it can be scary), but it's also very important to keep an eye on things and if the problem continues, definitely get your heart checked out further.

I hope this helped and I didn't get you too confused by what I was tryign to say!
