Last week i had an endoscopy done, and to be completely honest i don't remember much of what happened.Later that night, i just felt a little tired with a sore throat, which i supposed was to be expected. Next day terrible nausea, terrible throat pain, and my stomach felt like it had been kicked by a horse. I can hardly eat anything now, i'm lucky if can stomach a bowl of chicken soup per day. It just feels like theres a tight knot in my stomach and i'm full after eating a very small amount
.I did have two biopsys taken, so i'm wondering if this is why and hoping it will calm down. as i had previousy lost over a stone in weight before the procedure, and since i've had it just one week ago have lost another 6lbs and feel like death.I wish i had never had it done now, my doctor diagnosed me with H Pylori the week before, but instead of her giving me the medicine, she strongly advised me to go to emergency and get some more tests done, they arranged for me to have an endoscopy the following week. and the H pylori was negative, even though i have never been given any treatment ever for this disease, still waiting on other biopsy result. What i wanted to know was, is this normal to feel so ill after this procedure, and to feel one hundred times worse than you did before it.
