Everted appendix

I had a colonoscopy today and the Dr said that I had an everted appendix.  I never heard of this before.  What does this mean and does it need to be treated.  I had hairsprings disease when I was a baby and had a section of my intestine removed.   My mom said that the dr also removed my appendix, so Ian a bit confused.  Thanks for the help.

I too had a colonoscopy and too was told by the Dr I had a everted
appendix. Was told I need an operation. Six weeks have gone by and the
Dr is taking more serious case. Our next date is Jan 7th. How serious
is this as we are being put off all the time. We are Alberta Canadians.
Any suggestion who and how can we get this operation?
Thanks for any help!
