Extreme Bloating-Look 6 months pregnant HELP!

Hello!

I have been having extreme bloating for years. It is so bad that I look 6 months pregnant. It becomes extremely hard to breathe and most of the time I have to lie down on my side to get the gas moving in my stomach. Tums do not help, GasX and Chamomile Tea help SOMETIMES. It seems to happen more in the winter. I have been to the gastro, have had plenty of tests done and they have no clue whats causing it so they just figure its IBS. My mother has a stomach pace maker, gastroparesis (they think), and years and years later they still do not know what is fully wrong with her. They thought at first I could be running in her footsteps but the docs are not sure. I have tried to figure out if I have a food allergy and I have no clue what is causing it. Does anyone have any suggestions on remedies or treatments to try? Has anyone had this or know anyone thats had it? I havent met one person yet that has the same issue as me. Its extremely frustrating. I am not a bad eater. I work out 3-4 times a week. It just doesn't make sense. HELP! I have attached a picture so you can see what I deal with.

I just posted something today about my issues too. We sound an awful lot alike. I just recently have gotten more aggressive about figuring this thing out myself. I am seeing a gastro dr, had a colonoscopy (completely normal) in dec., had the celiac blood test (negative)... Frustration level through the roof!!! The gastro dr is not taking me seriously it seems, and I eat virtually nothing, beside protein shakes, because they seem to bother my stomach the least. But now they are saying the whey in them may be causing me trouble, so come off those. I have a very healthy lifestyle but struggle constantly with weight. I just last night discovered some weird little yellow pea sized objects in my very loose stool, followed with extreme diarrhea all night long. Which is new, I normally take magnesium or miralax so I can have a daily bowel movement. I don't know where to turn!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Aside dietary issues, possibilities that may need to be considered GI infections, inflammations, GI motility disorders, neuro-muscular causes, hormonal/ endocrine issues, IBS, malabsorption syndromes, medication side effect etc. I would suggest considering a detailed evaluation by a gastroenterologist for a detailed evaluation. After a specific cause is diagnosed, it can be managed accordingly.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
