Extreme bowel pressure and vomiting

I have had this experience 4 or 5 times now and in varying severity.  Last nights was by far the worst.

It usually begins with what feels like a regular bowel movement.  As I am "taking care of business" I can sense a pressure/dull pain begin to mount deep inside my stomache or intestines.  This pressure will continue to mount regardless of if I have an initial bowel movement.

Next my hands, feet, face, and testicles begin to turn red from blood rushing to them and get very itchy.
At this point the pressure/pain is very great and no longer feels localized at all.  It takes extreme breathing technique and meditation to keep from passing out.
Sometimes this pain will last 10-30 minutes, will pass and them I will have diarrea remaining but nothing more comes of it.  Last night however the pain continued getting worse for at least 45-60 min and included my body dry heaving 5 or 6 times before eventually vomiting a small amount of blood.  The pain threshold was far greater than previous and the duration was far longer.

2 factors seem to kick this process into gear.
1. fast food at some point in the day
2. milk products just before bed...in last nights case, a milk shake.

I have consumed both plenty of times in my life without this effect but i am convinced they were present in most if not all of the episodes.

Ideas?

Anything of this:
- upper abdominal bloating (distended stomach)
- belching/burping
- heartburn
- hunger pains (if yes, when and where exactly)
- feeling dizzy
- face flushing, lips swelling, skin itching related to any food (especially to fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree-nuts)?
- stomach burning after acidic foods, like lemons?

Hey thanks for writing.

It is the first time I have ever vomited blood and it was very minimal.

The symptoms are not consistent..I can drink some milk most days with no symptoms at all.  It is simply that I don't drink milk all that often and that each of the  or 6 timers this has happened milk and fast food was present.

i am 33 yrs old and I do drink alcohol.
Additionally there is great stress in my life right now with potential career changes/finances etc.

Thanks again for any input

Ateo

Vomiting blood is an urgent situation, even if you don't think taht. The cause has to be found, it may be an ulcer or varicose veins in esophagus. How old are you? Drinking alcohol?

If you are bloated, and think that diarrhea is related to milk products, than have a lactose-free diet trial for 2 days. If you are lactose intolerant, symptoms should lessen in this time. You may also try with low-fructose diet in case you're fructose intolerant. For more, check the journal under my username.
