Fecal blood Occult

Hi.I am 22 female.I have always been suffering from chronic constipation.  However since the past two months i changed my diet and started consuming more fruits and water .  Since then i passes my stool normal but i noticed mucous and blood in my stools.  I did a fecal blood occult and it revealed the following.

Pus Cells 3
Red blood Cells 1

What does this mean...Could it mean that i have cancer...

Well im 22...I went to my GI and he said that i have an anal fissure due to the chronic constipation.  He changed my medicines. I am just hoping that the medicines work now.  And the GI also advised me to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and yogurt too...Anyway thanks for your advise guys...

Avoid the Cipro, it's a very dangerous antibiotic!!! Plus, keep in mind when you take an antibiotic you are killing off all the good bacteria found natuarlly in our instestines that aids in digestion.  After a course of antibiotics, eat yogurt enriched with probiotics to replace this. Take care!

Ok.  Thanks you've reassured me.  Anyways which antibiotics were given to you.  I had been to the gastroenterologist two days back and he suggested me to have the fecal blood occult and prescribed those medicines to me : Duspatalin 200 mg and Flagyl 250 mg but till now no effect...Tomorrow i have an appointment with my GI.

just relax..dont think on these lines. i have also gone for the same test it resulted 5-6 pus cells 3-4 RBCs.i have taken antibiotics for 5 days and it had removed everything.no pus cells no RBCs.mucous is normal which gastroenterologist suggests.it is just an infection.go and consult a gastroenterologist.i guess blood is due to the constipation,do consume more water and citrus fruits.Avoid dairy products until u eradicate this infection.
