Flagyl and Cipro problems

My husband has been diagnosed with diverticulitis and is being treated with Flagyl and Cipro.  He now has a fever and terrible stomach pain and a hives like rash on his face and a slight fever.  He has had three doses and I am wondering what to do.  Thanks

I have called the ER and they won't tell me anything, just that I can bring him in if I want to.  The hospital is a half hour away so I am watching him close and I am going to call our Dr. in the morning. Thanks.

Call your doc and report what's going on. He may be having problems with one of the antibiotics and may need to change to something else. And the presence of a fever isn't good, so make that call.
