Yeah, it seems that every so often I get these foul tasting burps that make me want to gag and throw up. Watery stools every 5 minutes or so, stomach cramps, gas, and my mouth salivates like crazy sometimes - like my body wants to expel everything out...one way or the other. I tried linking to something bad I ate, perhaps some type of food I'm allergic to, but unable to pinpoint exactly what it is. I know it gets triggered about 6 to 8 hours after eating some type of meat dish or eggs. I do not eat raw or pooched eggs anymore, because of this. Also, if I'm sleeping - it's like my body will wait till I wake and then start to expel everything out afterwards, sometimes 12 hours after eating. I do take high blood pressure medication, work mostly graveyard shifts, and have uneven sleep patterns/times - but I also remember running home after high school and having similar symptoms several times. It's like I have to starve myself to make this go away, which can last from 1 to 2 days normally - 3 days if it's really bad. If I eat a regular meal too soon, it starts up all over again. I thought it was just me, until my son got it too. Perhaps we have sensitive stomachs. My cholesterol is 196, triglycerides is 190, HDL is 35, LDL is 123, Chol/HDL ratio is 5.6. I'm 38 now, 5', 11" and 260lbs. According to medical charts I'm considered obese, even though I only look slightly overweight on the outside. I was diagnosed with an enlarged liver, not sure what that entails. My physician doesn't seem to know or have any idea what this could be exactly, so he referred me to a gastroenterologist - he didn't seem to know either, but did remove a benign, good-sized polyp from my large intestine. I know my stats aren't that good, but my son got it at 1 year old - had him in the hospital for a couple of days - the Specialist said it was a virus, and I got it after that. Perhaps, it is a virus. Perhaps, it is a bad allergic reaction. I don't think it's a disease. Perhaps losing weight and lowering my cholesterol will help build a stronger immunity to this, then again maybe not. I know people bigger than me, who eat 2 to 3 times more than I do, who do have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, who does look obese - to the extreme...and they don't get these symptoms.
