Further change in bowel habit after colonoscopy

I had incomplete colonoscopy 10 days ago and now cannot go, not actually constipated as stools are very soft but the urge to go is not followed through.  Low grade stomach ache. Before colonoscopy, I had diarrhea. No results yet apart from diagnosing first grade haemorrhoids (which explains red blood). Fast tracked on the 2 week cancer investigation, CT scan, bloods and faecal stool tests. Still had no results. Colonoscopy painful, sedation did not work at all, I watched the whole thing on the screen, at times it proved to be painful, doctor took 8 biopsies - to be on the safe side. I am concerned. Will the hospital contact me or should I phone. Nothing was said about this. They blamed previous gynae surgery and looping colon for not being able to complete .
