Gallbladder Pain

about 2 years ago I kept having gallbladder attacks, severe pain upper right abdomen, tarry stools, pain in right shoulder, the whole 9 yards. I went to the hospital several times, had ultrasounds, hida scan, consult with a surgeon, endoscopy, ultrasound showed the gallbladder was somewhat inflamed, hida scan showed that it was functioning, surgeon tested and said no blood in stools, and endoscopy showed gastric ulcers from bile shooting back into my stomach instead of moving through my bowels like normal. after medications, and a few months, the pain subsided, now for the last few weeks, I have been getting pains no matter what I eat, alternating between constipation and diarrhea, (wont be able to go for 3 or 4 days, pass a very hard stool, then diarrhea for a few days). the other night I was riding down the rode (not driving thank goodness) and got the worst pain I have ever had, all the way across my upper abdomen, and in my chest over my breast bone, I was doubled over in pain for probably 20 minutes, and unable to catch my breath, only got worse when I applied pressure. then it just went a way, now I have a constant discomfort in that entire area, feels like my breast bone needs to pop or something, and pain in my right rib cage area. have been waiting for my insurance to approve my new doctor before I make an appt. is there anything else i should look out for, or anything I can do to ease the pain until I can see him, or go to the er?

does not radiate into my back at all, some pain in my right shoulder but it is not radiating, and not bad, more of just an ache, I have had chest x rays done the last time I had these problems and they said chest x ray showed nothing abnormal. I don't really have a lot of acid reflux, or heart burn, unless I eat spicy foods, or tomato based dishes. and no I don't think the bile shooting back into my stomach is causing the pain, like I said it was never this painful before. the main reason I suspect gallbladder is that several people I know and work with who have had gallbladder problems said they had similar type pains. my supervisor said there were times she thought she was having a heart attack it hurt that bad, so things aren't always as they seem.

I appreciate your input. thank you

only thing is, I don't have any other heart related problems, cholesterol is fine, blood pressure is normal, pulse rate is fine, I eat healthy, and don't really have a history of heart problems, the pain in my chest isn't so much like a chest pain as an ache, you know like when you have stretched a lot and the muscles are sore, its that type of pain, not like a sharp stabbing, or radiating.

might not be your gullbladder at all.
if i had pain like that especaily if its chest related, just go to the hospital and have it checked out, better to do that then end up on the floor dead from a heart attach you thought was gullbladder issues.
