Gallbladder Sludge

Hi,

Does anyone know if if there is any cure for Gallbladder Sludge? Will my Gallbladder have to be removed? This is my only diagnosis ! There are no Gallstones and i only have discomfort.

Thanks Calgal i am female but not taking any hormones or BC,and havent delivered a baby, i have started a low fat diet so i will for sure ask the Doc about actigal, regarding my Hida GB,ejection fraction scan is normal tomorrow.

Ronso, one more comment, if you're a female and on hormones or if you've delivered a baby, the hormones could be affecting your system. If on BC, you could try some other form and see if that's of help along with following a low fat diet.

You could ask your doc if you're a candidate to use a medication such as actigal. Other than that, the only way to rid yourself of the sludge is via removal of the GB.
