Gastroparesis

I'm 29 female, I have lost 91 pounds this year. My blood work is all normal I have irritable bowel syndrome and gastropareses. I have had dieriaha for a month with dark red blood. The doctor confirmed blood in my stool that's not coming from anything in the anus directly like hemorrhoids. I have severe vomiting without medication, and lower abdominal pain. I also have pain during bowel movements. My gastro doc cannot take me until oct and feels I will be fine until then because my blood work shows no immediate emergency. Everything I have read about IBS and gastroparesis says blood in stool is not a symptom. What could be wrong with me?

A second opinion is diffenately justified.  Blood in your stool is not a symptom of IBS and it indicates that something else is going wrong.

I do try to eat the right things but when it flares up like this it seems like it dosent matter what I eat holding anything down is rare. My specialist was able to take me in yesterday and put me on phenergan injections which are very painful but are working. He didn't seem concerned about the blood in my feses he felt that it was part of my IBS but every thing I read says its not. I am wondering if a second opinion is justified.

The drug that is not FDA approved is called domperidone and it is pretty cheap compared to other medications, but insurances won't cover it.  Do you eat a low-fiber, low-fat diet and many small meals throughout the day.

They have tried me on reglan and I'm on phenregan suppositories for vomiting. The reglan didn't work and I cannot afford the drug that is not FDA approved

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Blood in bowel movements is not a symptom of IBS or gastroparesis, so it sounds like you need a colonoscopy.  Are you on any treatment for the gastroparesis?
