Get rid of acid burps, gut pain stomach cramps FOREVER!!!!

I have the answer! Really I do! I had been suffering so terribly from those rotten tasting burps, cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, yet none of it was constant. Sometimes the pain was so immense and the night so horrendous, and other days I was fine. After doing a ton of research, I found the answer and it makes such perfect sense. Ofcourse I tried it first, and it's been two weeks completey pain free.

It's food combinations. I know alot of you are going to think I am nuts but that's the answer. There are certain foods the human body can process well together and certain combinations that will cause nightmares in your gut. I couldn't find anything free on the internet other than starting with an alkaline food and acid food group list which pointed me in the right direction. We have all been experiencing acid stomach overload. I immediately switched my diet to alkaline foods only  - NO PAIN! But the list was basic and the foods boring, then I stumbled upon Sherry Brescia's site. I am not affiliated or related to her in any way. Have not met the woman etc, I am just so passionate about the turnaround in my life from her method that I have to share. I kid u not, her food plan works, she gives you a 4 day pain free menu to start, and I promise, - NO PAIN. I also ordered her cookbook, the meals are amazing! NO SYMPTOMS whatsoever!

Trust me please! Just give it a try and don't cheat - although if you were going through what I was going through I know you would be scared to eat something that could potentially make you feel this way again! It really works. And, it makes perfect sense. Just google Sherry Brescia and try it. I promise it works!

List of sulphur-free foods: (Avoid them and this should stop sulphur gas).

-Garlic, onions, and all of the allium family
-Grains with:
--- methionine: corn, sunflower seeds, oats, chocolate, cashews, walnuts, almonds, sesame seeds (in that order).
---cysteine: oats, corn
-corn
-Legumes, including carob and jicama (alfalfa: MSM)
-Red meats
-eggs of chicken [of duck maybe less so?]
-Nuts & seeds
-Broccoli and all cole-family (brassica) vegetables. This includes cabbages, pak choi, mustard, and watercress.
-Asparagus
-Coconut
-Avocado (high in glutathione, which breaks down during digestion, yielding cysteine)
-Watermelon (also high in glutathione)
-Swiss Chard
-Parsley
-Turmeric (the spice that gives curry its sulfur-yellow color)
-Spinach (high in lipoic acid)
-Sweet potatoes and "yams" (American yams, Genus Ipomoea, not Dioscorea, which the rest of the world calls "yams") - a sulfur compound in this tuber chelates heavy metals. [Need documentation on this.]
-Tomatoes (MSM)
-Tea & coffee: MSM
-Dairy products (Cows' milk: MSM. other milks?)
-Whey proteins (high in cysteine & methionine)
-Amino acids: cysteine, methionine
-Thiamin / Thiamine / Vitamin B1 / aneurine
-Biotin, Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H

For More Information go in my journals (SULPHUR GAS)

Any commennts?

I have to disagree - fresh tomatoes are totally alkaline not acid for example a tomato sandwich on whole wheat toast with mayo is a pain free meal! Brocoli is alkaline, etc... please DO NOT FOLLOW BORON'S post - it is INCORRECT! Fruit must always be eaten on its own on an empty stomach. Alkaline veggies and starches are ok together as are alkaline veggies and proteins but starches and proteins together = PAIN! If you remember this simple pyhlosophy - NO PAIN!

Cut out refined and fried and processed food - and see how much your energy sores!

Painless Yay, I've only listed foods which contain SULPHUR. These foods can cause sulphur gas (flatulence). I was not talking about acidic/alkaline foods. Sulphur gas and sulphur burps are not caused by the same foods, so my list is only for sulphur gas, this may caused some confussion.

Tomatoes may cause sulphur gas.

Tomatoes also contain fructose and often can't be tolerated by persons with fructose malabsorption, which is common. I personnaly get heartburn after tomatoes. Also after cabbage, fresh fruit juices.

The website you've mentioned is HIGHLY missleading. It lists IBS, diverticulosis, diverticulitis, Crohn's disease and colitis and suggests that all this can be treated with the diet? This was not confirmed by medical investigations.

Everything that PainlessYay said is taken from sites that have conspiracy theories as main focus, no sources included so it makes them very unreliable. Anyone can put something up on internet. The important thing is to have facts and/or real studies to back it up. The pH values that are mentioned in those sites are totally pulled up from someone's *** (and stating that sugar is POISON! for example). Acids having alkaline effects is like saying that fuel gas will extinguish the fire. Everyone has their own conditions or allergies. Human organism is much more complex than that and it always tries to balance the pH values, but please don't teach this nonsense. Do a research on how body digests things from much more reliable sources.
