HIDA scan on gallbladder...need info

I just had a HIDA scan qith CCK on my gallbladder.  I was in extreme pain once the CCK was injected and paitently waited to see my gallbladder empty.  About 20 mins into the administration of the CCK it finally started to let a little of its contents "trickle" (technicians words) out into the duodenum.  How quickly should it have emptied?  I've been throwing up since the CCK was injected, too.  I cannot seem to find anything on the internet that has pics of a normal HIDA scan and ejection.  Please help!

The gallbladder should empty within 2 hours of eating. In the HIDA/CCK, it should have emptied somewhere between 40% and 75% of its contents in order to be considered normal. Based on what you describe here, there's definitely some sort of problem with your gallbladder. They'll probably recommend removing it.
