Help

Sgpt has become elevated-climbed about 30 points in 4 mths,  have been dx'd with a liver cyst-told nothing to worry about.  Stool has changed from dark brown to orangy-yellow, right side pain back pain.

Any suggestions Anybody

I had 1 raised liver enzyme last year, far too much booze, though i'm not alcoholic.
Asked the doctor should i worry.
No, he said if there were other raised enzymes, then there may be some concern.
Relax! You will be OK, Besides, you have already been told the problem.
Enjoy life and don't worry, please.
Trust me on this one. I looked into everything last year and convinced myself i was ill.
Through this i lost 4 months through worry, don't go down that road.

You need to check this out further, especially if that's the only liver enzyme that's going up. What's suggested when it's 'only' ALT is that it can be elevated in persons who have a history of known or possible exposure to hepatitis viruses, or in those who have elevated alcohol intake, some drugs can cause damage to the liver and have ALT elevations, etc.
