Hiatal Hernia pain?

Does anyone know whrere one would feel a Hiatal Hernias pain. I get this ach pain right under my left breast that scares me because i dont know if its my heart or a hiatal hernia..The pain is brought on by movements sometimes like if i turn my body to fast, or if i bend over. i also get it alot after meal. Does anyone get this same pain under the left breast bone and knows what it is?

For me it's the same as rick927 - right in the middle in the 'V' under my rib cage and up into my chest.....speak of the devil there goes one now...they occur a lot when I am sitting or laying in bed and definately immediately after I swallow any kind of fruit or juice. Had it for years and years and it's affected my life daily. Horrible; can't get any answers.

my spasms are in the middle and just below my breast bone and kinda up my esophagus.
I'm trying to log when exactly they occure.

Hi rick927, may i ask where you feel your spasm? I have had mine all over the chest but feel them more after meals under my left breast bone..

I just had a ECG done. They found GERD and a Hiatal Hernia. I often get spasms from the hernia. Scary!! You may have the same.
