Hida Scan

I had a Hida Scan 2 years ago with an injection fraction of 36%. Durring the test I had left sided abdomal pain and spasms ????  no physician can explain why this happened. No stones. Recently I do have some right upper quaderant pain but most anoying is bloating and gas pain. This even with a cup of coffee. Any suggestions.

Your ejection fraction with your HIDA scan was almost at the very bottom of normal range the last time, so with your upper right quadrant pain, I recommend you ask the dr. for the test to be repeated.  The left side has the stomach, and behind that, the pancreas.  But the gallbladder is toward the middle, though on the right- wonder if it was referred symptoms?

My EF was 52% which is considered "normal" but mine was extremely sluggish which caused me all my symptoms of pain, nausea vomting, I had mine removed in Jan 2011 and all my symptoms have gone away... have you tried a low fat diet and try and stay away from caffeine (coffee, pop etc) this used to give me the worst pains.
