Horrible stomach and intestine cramps ...

Why do I get bad cramps in stomach an intestines after eating medjool dates and date rolls? I have been eating them for the past two months but now have just started to be affected in the past two weeks. My Dr. gave me Nexium yesterday but I wonder if I should have received some antibiotics instead. Now when I eat them I get massive cramps that are very painful and won't go away unless I take a few acidophilus pills. Any suggestions?

I'm sensitive to foods, I get where you're coming from, have you asked for a food allergy tolerance test, its such a good idea to have one! In the mean time, keep away from the dates!!  :) best of luck :)

I think you need to stop eating the dates, as they obviously don't agree with you.  We all have foods that cause problems with our digestion, and all you can do is avoid the food.
