I have terrible constipation, what do you recommend to treat it?

I've tried eating lots of fruit and veg but nothing seems to work.

My son has a slow gastrointestinal tract.  He's been to the emergency room a couple of times to rule out appendicitis because he has pain and such that we have to rule that out first.  Both times it was impaction of his bowel!  Ugh, poor kid.  We received good advice though that does really help. Grape juice.  A cup a day.  This simple trick helps my son keep going.  Tastes pretty good.  Fruits help but you have to watch what such as bananas and apples are not great to clear constipation.  If it continues, see your doctor.  The enema is an alternative that will clean you out but you definitely don't want to rely on such measures.  good luck

Have COW GHEE 2 spoons morning and in nights before sleep to help smooth bowel movements. Other thing you shall do is to grind Flax seeds and Fenugreek seeds and have 1 tsp with water morning and evening as these are mucilage foods and will help with bowel.
For immediate detox do this: (know as MASTER DETOX):
Add 1/2 lemon juice + 1 tsp of red chillies powder (red powdered cayenne pepper) + water and drink this to flush out waste from your body.

Have you tried prune juice specifically, or any fiber drinks/medications?   If you have tried all that, it's time to get to a doctor to see if they can locate the cause and give you something that may be more effective.
