If the ultrasound shows negative can it still be gallbladder?

I am a 25 year old female with a recent occurence of nausea, vomiting, pressure in stomach, premature fullness at meals, tenderness in urq upon pressure.I have lost a total of 15+ pounds so far. I for 4-6 weeks I was vomiting at least one time a week and now its every other week or so. I have had a endoscopy which showed a hiatal hernia, a colonoscopy which came out normal, an ultrasound which showed the gallbladder as normal, an upper GI which showed a hiatal hernia and a esophageal diverticulum. I having a hida scan scheduled for the end of this week. I have also been referred to a surgeon to consult with about surgery. Gallbladder disease runs in my family. Is it possible that this is my gallbladder?

In short, yes, in the forms of (a) undetected stones, and (b) gallbladder dyskinesia. (There are a few uncommon possibilities such as SOD.) Note, however that the nausea and vomiting may be indicative of a more global motility problem.
