In Need of Answers....

My stomach and upper intestines are inflammed.. or a bit more than inflammed. endoscopy in april showed my stomach lining was eroded. Took Nexium 2x/day. The end of june my stomach was still not healed and sm. bowel follow through indicated my small intestines were also inflammed. I tested neg for H. pylori both in biopsy and through blood sample. Will be going to a medical research hospital this week. Im wondering if there is any specific condition or disease that may be causing my symptoms that have already been over looked.. Still in incredible pain, only seems to be getting worse,  my joints ache expesially in my hips, shoulders, knees and ankles. Im at my wits end. Full of stress and anxiety that I know is not helping anything.  I am still taking prevacid 2x/day, also have been taking levsin, I don't feel that these medications are actually helping.

They did do a biopsy of the stomach area. The only change in bowel habbits are the bloody stools. I also had a colonoscopy.  My colonoscopy was normal. I have been wondering about crohn's because, amongst everything else, I have a very noisy stomach. My weight is up and down with in 20 lbs, depends on how much food hurts when i eat it.  I would have assumed that the gastroenterologist would have been able to detect Crohn's, but again that is an assumption. I  have read that Crohn's in the stomach area is much less common.. Im sure I will have some type of answer after this weekend, as I am going to the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor friday. I am just nervous and anxious. It seems to have taken way to long not to have any answers so far.

Do you have any other symptoms like weight loss, fever, change in bowel movement? When they did the endoscopy did the biopsy the inflamed area?It could be crohn's there are 5 types and one in inflammation of stomach and small intestines I would look up crohn's and the symptoms of crohn's and see if your symptoms match.
