Klebsiella P

I've had 2 UTI's with KP in the last few months.  Both had very low counts of bacteria.  No physical cause has been found but I am post menopause and have problems with urinary incontinence so wear pads 24 hours a day.  I'm 63 and do not take / use estrogen creams or replacement therapy.  NOT sexually active for 5 or more years.

Doctor gave me 10 days of Suprax this second time.  Will that rid my intestines of the KP? If not, what can I do to prevent this again?

Colonoscopy 12/16/2013 with few external hemorrhoids and few / mild diverticular pouches noted.

Thank you!  The pharmacist had given me a bottle of this but it's a very low count!  Last antibiotic gave me a RAGING yeast infection so this should be of great help!

You need to take a therapeutic probiotic.  By therapeutic, I mean 50 billion count or more.  Antibiotics wipe out the friendly bacteria as well as the bad bacteria so you need to replenish the friendly.  Next time you feel another UTI coming on, just add more probiotics and you won't need to take an antibiotic.
