Left side abdominal and back pain

I am a 64 year old woman who has had gastric problems for some time. For the past year I have had a hsorrible pain under my left ribs, back ache, sometime really high up and loose bowel movements, sometimes painful and urgent. I recently had a CT scan, without contrast, and everything apparently looked fine. I am at my wits end now and don't know where to turn next. Can anyone's help?
