Loose stools for about a year, etc. Does IBS have blood in stool?

This began roughly a year ago when I began experiencing constipation and bloating. Didn't think much about it. Continued living my normal life, going to work and school, going out for drinks, going out to eat, etc. About half a year ago, it started getting worse. I would feel like I need to go to the bathroom, but only small amounts of stool would come out. In the past couple weeks, I've been experiencing more noticeable abdominal pain. I've done about 3 blood tests in the past year and they have all ended up normal. Recently, I performed 2 stool samples and there was a small amount of blood in the stool. I ended up going to the hospital to double check these symptoms. They performed a CT scan and ruled out cancer and collitis. I was not given answers as to why there would be blood in my stool or what I should do. I have a gastroenterologist appointment coming up in 2 weeks, but this whole thing is freaking me out. I also seem to be slowly losing weight. About 5 lbs in the past 3 weeks.

I'm a 22 year old asian male.

Anyone with similar symptoms, it would be very much appreciated if you offered advice or just gave me some general information on what it could possibly be and how to deal with this.

Schedule a Colonoscopy it may be polyps bleeding inside you. Until you do, do not eat any nuts or popcorn it irritates colon polyps. My husband bled throuh his jeans from his rectum looked like he had a period, but after Colonoscopy they found polyps causing the blood. Don't mess around, get a colonoscopy and find peace of mind from the results. Better to experience this, find out what is the cause and deal with whatever it is than worry.

What color is the blood?  Is it black or bright red?

You can't really notice there being blood, the stool is somewhat black though. Didn't realize there was blood in my stool until it was tested in the lab. Even then, there was only small amounts of it.

When I eat, it's almost as though I feel the food moving through my digestive tract. Now, rather than bloating, I feel as though I'm more hungry than normal even after eating, as though the food I just ate went straight through. Loose stools occur every bowel movement. Often see undigested food.  Mucus occasionally comes with bowel movements. I've tried changing my diet in the past week to eat more vegetables, chicken as opposed to red meat, less rice, more greek yogurt. I feel fine in terms of energy, but the weight loss is making me nervous.
