The sounds like a good idea. Post nasal drip can definitely contribute to nausea.
I really think you're right, nausea was a problem that really never went away for me and the pot just hid it. I think certain things do trigger symptoms though, I went to a clean air environment back to ho chi minh which has horrendous pollution. My throat feels itchy and i'm coughing again so I have a good feeling that pollution is messing with me which is in turn making me constantly nauseous. My next step is to take some ameds to see if the coughing and I think some nasal drip goes away and then maybe in turn helps my stomach.
Pot is a alternative medicine for nausea so it could be that you've had this problem for a long time and the pot was just helping when you were at home. I don't know of any condition that is "usually" medicated by marijuana but there are conditions that are occationally medicated by marijuana. I'm sure you already know this and have thought about this but even though smoking pot isn't anywhere close to being as bad as cigarettes, everytime you smoke, you are inhaling smoke into your lungs, which is not good.
Seeing a gastroenterologist is kind of hard when here in Vietnam. One of the things that I think has made my issue flare up is the fact that I am not smoking pot here, which I would normally use to calm my nerves back home. I've read about a lot of stomach conditions that are usually medicated by marijuana. I could get weed here but I really don't want to..does anyone else think that may be the cause of my symptoms?
Welcome to the gastroenterology community! I would recommend that until you can see a doctor (preferably a gastroenterologist) that you eat small frequent meals and eat a low-fat diet.
Can anybody give input? Please!?
