Mucous with and without stool

HI,

I have, in the last month, had some intestinal issues.  It started out when I was passing large amounts of mucous without stool for approx. three days.  I then started to have severe diarrhea.  On one occasion a passed large blood clots without stool.  The blood and the blood clots never returned after this event, I continued to have diarrhea however.  I went into my Family practice doctor after two weeks of diarrhea and severe abdominal pain. At this appointment a CT scan of my abdomen was down and stool samples, and blood test were ordered.  Everything came back within normal ranges.  My diarrhea has been on and off since this and I have been passing even larger amounts of mucous with and without my stool.  I have had two episodes of incontinence also.  I have been frustrated because I have had many moments where I feel the sudden urge to relieve myself and when I get to the toilet I either pass only mucous or little stool with large amounts of mucous.  I recently had an episode where when I went to wipe I had a large amount of mucous that I was actually pulling from my rectum.  I still have abdominal discomfort and on and off pain.  When I do go to relieve myself the abdominal pain is very intense.

What would your advice be?  I am at my wits end and exhausted all the time.  It is starting to interfere with my ADL's .  I want to thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,
I am an 18 year old female. Four days ago I started having diarrhea pains in my lower stomach which continued throughout the day. However, when I visited the bathroom I had very little stool come out and a weird mucus-like substance surrounding it. The next day I continued to have the pains and still wasn't having what I thought would be enough stool to cause the problem. Also, each time I try to have a bowel movement I have more gas than anything. I have recently eaten a lot of healthy foods, fruits and vegetables, which could be causing the problem, but this is unlike anything I have ever had before. I had one day where I didn't have anything happen, no gas, no mucus, nothing.
Then today I woke up with the sensation that I really had to go (which never happens to me ever),  and I only had a few little mucus pieces come out, (some clinging to tiny bits of soft stool). I haven't noticed any blood, which I guess is a good thing bit I am still a bit worried and confused. Is this normal for a girl my age?

Look up the diet for Inflammed Bowel Disorder (IBD). I am a student in my third year of Nutritional Science Major and this would be a helper for all of you who are suffering. I would also suggest taking a regimen of probiotics to help balance the colon back to normal. And first and foremost-go to the doctor and if you get no answers go to a specialist because the issue is no just nothing. All the signs and symptoms point to the IBD and there are methods of treatment and ways to prevent acute attacks. I personally have dealt with this issue and it comes and goes, especially during times of intense stress or sickness.

My symptoms were: passing a lot of mucous, with or without stool, many times of incontinance(the mucus or diarhea was just uncontrollable), cramping, high fever for 2 days.this went on and on for several weeks. A colonoscopy showed (they said)too much use of herbal laxatives. (They want you to use non natural kind). Through a stool sample they found c.dificile. they've been treating it with Flagyl and probiotics. I am better but just finished 2nd round of Flagyl (2 weeks). I am going to take another stool sample in. We will see what that shows. About the same time this got severe I started having a lot of pain in my neck and back, and now some mental confusion which I didn't see how it could've been connected until I saw someone elses post above. If you do have active c.dificile, it does need to be treated. C.dificile is a takeover of bad bacteria in the colon.

I am 40 yrs old, female who has been experiencing mucous in my stool off & on for sometime now.  Just this past week, it has become very bad...lots of mucous, abdominal pain, severe headaches, back pain-mostly neck & lower back, pale clammy skin, dark circles under eyes, nausea, muscle pain & twitching, dizziness, & confusion or loss of ability to focus.  The way I best am able to describe it is just feeling crappy & out of sorts, with pretty much migraines & extremely tired & like my skin hurts, mostly legs & back.  I have an almost constant urge to evacuate my bowels, but when I try to go, it hurts & very little feces comes out, mostly just mucous sometimes with tinges of blood.  I have been in bed for most of the week & am planning to visit the ER  in the morning, but decided to web surf & thought I'd just check & see if anyone might know what this could possibly be?

Hi I am a 25 y/o-guy from the Philippines and I have experienced very small amount of mucous and blood together with my stool for about 4 days. I've had a burning sensation in my stomach and it's felt like I am always hungry. Every time I go to the toilet to pass out, I would have small amount of mucous with bright red particle which I assumed to be blood in four days. And there's always a feeling or a need of going to the bathroom. My stool was sometimes okay, sometimes narrower but not really tiny. On the fifth to sixth day, I only had mucous in a very small amount, no blood anymore, but I am still worried. What does that mean? I am planning to see a doctor but I wonder if there's a doctor offering free services for my situation. I pray to God that I am okay. I strongly believe that I'll be fine. Thanks! Im 42 yo female, with a new L4, L5 disc injury, over the last 3 days I have had a severe sinus infection going on with large amounts of mucous being swallowed, Ive also started passing lots of gas and having the feeling of urgency in the bathroom for a bowl movement. When I do have one it is only a slight amount as if I had blown my nose first thing in the moring (about a table spoon or more) which is yellowish brown with a slight tinge of red. Strange, im a nurse and have went thru the things it can be but dont have the symptoms of the one thing but only a couple of another. I do eat alot of cheese. like a lb. every 3 days or less.

I am 42 years old and new to this site.  I have been having mucous stools and have been very gassy for 2 days with no pain and no blood in the stool, just mucous--it ranges from clear to white and sometimes yellow tinged.  My normal bowel function is usually about every 4 to 6 days, I eat regularly and my abdomen is not distended.  I have a history of internal and external hemmorrhoids--that are not an issue at this time........................any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

ATTENTION ANYONE EXPERIENCE ITCHING:

You have parasites! Almost 95% of people have some sort of parasite. These parasites breed, and make hundreds to thousands of eggs per day! Sugars, natural or artificial, seem to feed the parasites, creating candida. If you have allergies or suffer from post-nasal drip  (like I do), and have the sensation of mucus or "something stuck in the back of your throat", these are parasites "coming down to feed" on the sugars, dairy, and other mucus-forming foods you consume.

Let me list the ailments I’ve noticed, just in my own health struggles, over the last 20+ years: dry, itchy scalp (NOT dandruff, but I NOW know they’re demodex mites), thinning hair (or bald spots), allergies, sinus issues (PND), “cluster” and migraine headaches, eye floaters, visual disturbances, acne, occasional lesions, occasional ringworm & small white spots that appear randomly over the body (caused by what I NOW know is a skin fungus), easy bruising, anemia, constant weight gain (even when not eating much), itchy skin (especially on the lower legs), abdominal pain/gas/boating/IBS symptoms, vaginal/rectal itching (especially at night), depression/mood swings/memory lapses, body odor/bad breath, and nail fungus.

Most of the time, these parasites are "stealing" the nutrients from your foods, to feed and protect themselves in your body, leading to issues like abdominal discomfort, IBS/Crohn's, Diabetes, Anemia, easy bruising, Cancer, and other ailments.

Unless you go to a holistic or naturopathic doctor, your stool samples, and other blood tests will MAGICALLY turn up "negative". WHY YOU ASK??? Because the medical profession NEEDS you to keep coming in for unnecessary tests and medications, TO KEEP YOU SICK! It's more profitable for the FDA and Big Pharma, to keep one believing that something is wrong with them (whether gastro issues, psych issues, or other more serious illnesses and diseases), than to CURE YOU of your issues!!

I have parasites. LOTS OF THEM! I have been to several doctors that just write off anything you say, but are quick to order medications and other unnecessary (expensive) tests that DON'T WORK! I'm also a nurse (for over 35 years), and don't take one's word as gospel, until AFTER I do my own research.

In my research, I found an interesting link between parasites, an overabundance of candida, and various health issues. I’m an avid gardener, love sushi, grew up eating pork products, have always had pets (that I kissed often, and allowed on my bed regularly), had pinworms as a child (that I THOUGHT had been treated), and as an Emergency Room nurse, tended not to eat the best diet (I’ll admit). Yep, I fit the bill for parasite infestation.
I decided (after the last physician treated me like I was ignorant) to order natural supplements (from Amazon) to rid myself of any parasites. BTW, don’t bother buying anything for a candida cleanse (like I did) because until you rid the body of parasites, the candida won’t be eliminated. This candida buildup creates the “perfect storm” for various diseases and illnesses, including cancers, diabetes, lupus, multiple sclerosis, IBS, Crohn’s disease, yeast infections, etc.

I ordered Dr. Clark's Super W Blend (which contains Wormwood, a POWERFUL anti-parasitic); Organic Cloves; and GREEN Black Walnut Hulls TINCTURE (Black Walnut Hulls capsules are fine, but the liquid GREEN Black walnut TINCTURE is far more effective. TRUST ME ON THIS).

I kid you not; by the second day, I passed worms. Clear, (sometimes white) stringy worms (pinworms) and tons of egg larvae, were in my stools. And, my stools were NORMAL stools; I wasn’t having diarrhea or constipation. Just an incredible urge to go to the bathroom! Sometimes, I went to the bathroom more than 4 times a day! The Super W Blend and Green Black walnut tincture kills the adult worms, and the Cloves kill any egg larvae.

I couldn't believe my eyes! But I was even more focused to get these things out of my body! I even brought in a stool sample that anyone, even those with slight intelligence, could glance at quickly, and KNOW something was wrong. But guess what?? The tests for Ova & Parasites, came back negative. WTF??

So I stopped going to doctors, because I now KNOW what the real deal is. If you want to rid yourself of these issues, you must be PROACTIVE in YOUR OWN HEALTHCARE!!

I will say that once you start this protocol, YOU MUST CONTINUE AT ALL COSTS! If you stop, the parasites regroup, and you experience even MORE issues!  I must tell you, however, that you’ll feel worse before you feel better. I went through the sensation of “things crawling all over my body”. These are the parasites knowing they’re under attack, dying, and releasing their toxins, which poison the blood and leads to intense night sweats, increased body odor/bad breath, and insomnia (especially between the hours of 2-3am). You may have also noticed these worms become MORE ACTIVE around the time of the full moon. For the sinus/PND issues, I also added Oil of Oregano capsules; take 1 capsule 3x/day. For immediate relief of that sensation of “something stuck in the back of my throat”, I break one of the capsules in my mouth, and allow the oil to slowly go down my throat. The oil burns, but it kills worms “coming down to feast”. NEVER swallow the mucus! Cough it up and spit it out! Swallowing the mucus (which contain worms & their larvae) goes to your intestines, to begin their lifecycle all over again!

Stay away from any sugars (even natural sugar), dairy, grains, white flour, white rice, white bread (they convert to sugar in the body, thus feeding the parasites), and any mucus-causing foods, as much as you possibly can. Buy Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth, and put 1 TBSP in water (or another drink) and have that once or twice per day. Be SURE to drink PLENTY of fluids afterwards, as DE tends to constipate you. The DE are tiny, microscopic fresh water diatoms, that under a microscope looks like Chex mix; their edges are sharp, and shred the parasite’s body, rendering them helpless (or killing them), so they can be easily flushed from the body with the other products mentioned earlier. The DE also has other benefits: can be used in a home-made toothpaste (to re-mineralize teeth); for pest control (in and outside of the home, so lose your pest control company fees ☺); can be mixed into pet’s food to kill parasites in their bodies, as well as rubbed into their coats to kill fleas and other parasites, amongst other benefits!

****FOR THE ITCHING: Tea Tree Oil body washes! I run a bath (with the water as hot as I can stand), put a few squirts of this into my water (along with Epsom salt, I find parasites cannot stand this!) and sit/soak for at least 20 minutes. NO MORE ITCHING (for that day at least). Change all bed linens and wash your clothes daily. Vacuum resting spaces DAILY. DO NOT KISS, or allow pets onto your bed. Be sure to treat EVERYONE in your household, as its more than likely, they’re infected too.

This is working for me. I hope and pray that this helps others.

If all of your o&p stool samples are coming back negative. WBC normal most like you do not have a parasitic infection in particular pin worms from what you have described is like you have major paranoia regarding parasites.  In which I had pin worms as a child also I now have a severe phobia to the extent I do not ever drink tap water eat pork fish sushi swim in lakes constantly wash hands to avoid getting worms.  With pin worms there is not any question you have them. They are airborne and highly contagious. Yes they are nocturnal and that causes the itching and discomfort at night while you are sleeping. Pin worms will be present in stool whether it is hard soft watery  being a solid white or yellow tint being no longer than a quarter of an inch in length and will be moving unless they are treated with medication killing them then they will just all come out as a whole  eggs can't actually be seen as they are microscopic.  Even with tape worms. Round worms  are all doing to be very much visible  from what you are saying it sounds like there is mucus build up in your stool
Wormwood hardly helps, and can be toxic in higher amounts or when mixed with other dewormers. It is not medically recommended for a reason. When I had pinworms (which can be gotten rid of, or at least killed off to the degree that they are hardly an issue as most people do have them, just in small amounts) the only thing that helped were the higher strength medications from the doctor to kill the adults and diatomaceous earth (which is not the diatoms themselves, by the way, but the shells of dead, fossilized ones) to kill the eggs before they hatched, as my doctor recommended, along with cleaning our entire home and a HOT shower each morning and night until they were gone. Kissing someone won't spread intestinal worms and pets can't carry or host human pinworms as their body temperature is too high for them to survive and their ph is off. THe worms are highly sensitive to such things, which is why you can heat kill them. I tried wormwood, it did nothing. Not everyone has parasites, by the way, at least not to the degree you are trying to say, and candida is its own "parasite" (although it is required by your body in small amounts and only a problem if overgrowth occurs) and not caused by other parasites although they are more likely to overgrow if you kill off the bacteria that keep them in check. Parasites are not the only cause of mucus and itching. Bacteria can cause it, and I for example have chronic hemorrhoids, which causes bowel issues, itching, and mucus build up. Try witch hazel instead of tea tree, and apple cider vinegar for mucus elsewhere. However, you just sound highly paranoid or like you are trying to whip up paranoia. I am not a medical professional, but I was raised by two parents who work in medicine, have experience with these issues and have been using natural remedies for years with help from my mother (I tend to be sensitive to medications), and am studying biology and environmental science. I don't know where you worked or what doctors you had, but in my experience, neither medical professionals or big pharma are out to get you, that's just conspiracy, and with many cases the medications really do work. OP sounds like they merely have a normal symptom of IBS they just haven't encountered before.
Wow...I think maybe psychiatry would be more helpful in this case...

Warning.  Any change in mental status with diarrhea or vomiting regardless of the cause could be electrolyte imbalance due to dehydration.  See your Dr or urgent care imediately.  This could be life threatening,

Hi I'm 19yrs old and most my life I've been anemic, and had constipation. Every now and then I would experience slight blood on my stool and didn't worry. But yesterday I felt my stomach toss and turn but with no pain! So I went to the restroom and there was blood in the toilet bowl. Bright red, and I was not constipated. Almost like diarrhea, what scares me is that it seems to have blood clots. I've done so much online research and I'm scared to think it could be colon cancer although its not common at my age. Only do I think its the cancer because I do have anemia and that's known to be a side affect. Pls help any advice is helpful.
