My digestive system is numb?

I can eat something that I KNOW causes me diarrhea. But it doesn't make me feel sick...no pain, no ache...well, most of the time.
And then a day or more later, I'm hit with diarrhea. Then my insides might feel bad. It fools me a lot...
A couple of years ago, I used to get aches or a pain almost right away if I ate a bad food...now I don't.
Did my stomach etc die or something? I think it's weird.
Sometimes I might have a pain, but it's mild I don't even pay attention to it much. And sometimes I might feel the food that I ate making noises and somewhat feel pressure...but not a lot.
Is this "numbness" something to be worried about? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I wouldn't worry about this "numbness," and your stomach hasn't "died."  This has happened to other people where they didn't get symptoms until the diarrhea started.  I would recommend just avoiding the foods that cause you diarrhea.
