Neck hurting

I don't really know where to begin.  It started several years ago with loosing my voice and didn't know why.  Went to see a specialist and found out that I had irrated esophagus which was cused from acid reflux "silent" because I had not idea that it was there.  I started taken Kapidex and it didn't work, then proliced and Zantac and didn't work either.  Now my acid reflux is so bad that I have constant taste in my mouth from the time I get up until evening.  I tried Natural remedies such as AVC and Aleo Vera for the imflamation in my stomach, and it does help but the vineger irritated my throat so I stopped.  My doctor has me scheduled for an Endoscopy next month, but in the mean time my glands on my left side of my neck are swollen and I have sharp pains from my neck to the back of my head......duration for a few seconds at the time very sharp beying my ear.  She says my lymph node are tender and a little swollen.....what does this mean?  The pain scares me....sometimes it feels like it's right insed my ear like it's going to bust something...so I have a inner ear infection too.   Please help me.

Yes I wonder if I do have food intolerance like wheat.  I eat a lot of wheat products, usually different grains not 100% wheat. I don't understand why my glands would be very tender though.  Do you think an antabiotic would help the infection.  I am sooo tired of this.  The lightining pain really scares me too.

Italiana, in addition to taking the meds, did you also change your diet and make lifestyle changes? Many find that just the meds don't do enough to bring things in line.

You may also want to consider checking into food intolerance issues. Many with food intolerance don't know it's going on, and a number of symptoms can mimic GERD.
