No Bowel Movements

Hi, I was recently working on something and had to stretch to reach object, when I did I felt a kinda twing in my lower right abdomen, very little pain when happened for about 2 seconds, didn't think much about it . The next day I had very little bowel movement, after that no bowel movements, taking a lavative is the only way I get any movement. Is it possible that I pulled something or some kind of hernia  , that can cause this problem?  Before this I had bowel movements like clock work  never had any kind of problem.  thanks  ed

My first thought was a hernia. How long since your last BM?
